The Partnership (Birmingham Hippodrome, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Sampad, mac, Ex Cathedra, The Drum, Symphony Hall Town Hall, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Dance Xchange, Birmingham Opera Company, Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, Birmingham REP) wanted to review their first Four Squares Weekender in 2013 and participate in creative visioning around its successor, exploring a number of different options.
Through collective meetings and one to one conversations with artists, partners and funders, Maria developed the vision with the partners and offered recommendations for the next edition which ran successfully in September 2015.
