  • Invisible Flock’s 105+dB The North’s passion for football captured in a large scale, sonic artwork.
  • Northern Film and Media’s Remake a Take A chance to step inside stills from iconic northern films and to remake a take.
  • Richard DeDomenici’s Get Carter: Redux Reshooting scenes in the original settings for a new take on this classic film.
  • Vanessa Grasse’s MESH Participatory choreography weaving through the streets, bringing us together.

  • Steve Messam’s Whistle Cascading sounds of locomotive whistles following the line of the medieval town wall.
  • Boff Whalley’s Trailblazing Three choirs walking the three routes, filling them with song and gathering for a finale.
  • Northern Stage’s Self-Build Utopias Performances, installations and exhibitions imagining a more fun, sustainable and creative future.
  • Great North Children’s Hospital’s Pop-up Hospital – interactive and virtual experiences exploring the human body and cutting-edge medicines.
