I help you navigate the journey of imagining the new and reimagining the existing. Many of my projects have involved creative and operational start-up of a new idea, for example, Corridor of Light, the Ripples of Hope Festival, and the Great Exhibition of the North.

Inspiring visioning and revisioning for your programmes and projects
Powerful and effective programming, commissioning and curating
Work with me to ensure you find the most powerful and effective approach including multi-arts expertise, networks and the capacity to connect. My work brings together local, national and international voices as befits the brief, to tell powerful stories through a diversity of art forms, from outdoor arts to music, from visual arts to digital.
Strong programming with your partners
We achieve more together than we do alone. I support you with co-curating and building programmes with partners, for example, Oxford Road Corridor partners for Corridor of Light, and the creative group at the heart of the Great Exhibition of the North (Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Sage Gateshead, Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums and NewcastleGateshead Initiative).
Creative bid-writing
When competitive projects need bid-writing support, I bring my experience of working with NewcastleGateshead Initiative’s successful bid for the Great Exhibition of the North and working with Durham on their ground-breaking county-wide UK City of Culture bid.
Interim Artistic Director, Chief Executive or strategic support
Bringing experience as a Chief Executive and Artistic Director, I am happy to offer interim support in both areas. For example, providing strategic support for the Light Up the North network. In all roles, I draw on my coaching and mentoring experience where relevant.
Project management and evaluation
Great projects need great project management. I have consolidated years of practical project management experience with Foundation and Practitioner Level, Prince2 Project Management qualifications
Successful fundraising
All ambitious projects need money to fly. I’ve partnered with a wide range of individual donors, trusts and foundations, sponsors, councils and government bodies. I’ve also recently completed the National Arts Fundraising School programme, ensuring my knowledge is up to date.
